52nd Street Reunion 2

These are the kids I grew up with. We all lived within a few blocks of each other in Brooklyn. With the exception of Anthony, I have not seen any of them since I was 16. Most of them I know since 8 years old or so. We found each other on Myspace! Of all the bad things people can say about Myspace, look where it got us. Anyway, Michelle did an excellent job organizing a reunion for us a few days before Memorial Day weekend. I had such a great time! Who knew that these people would be just as awesome as adults? Not one of them turned out to be an idiot or a crackhead or some stuck-up fool. Makes me remember my childhood and think about how good I had it. Life is much harder these days. I can’t imagine having kids and trying to raise them in today’s world. Could they have it as good as I did? Would they be safe from the drugs and the guns and diseases out there? I was, thankfully.
